Itinerant

14 August 2006

Over the course of the next few weeks, I will be in transit to and from my home in California and will be further occupied by several administrative matters:

  • Figuring out how best to get my shit from my apartment in Boston to my dorm room at Cornell pending my brief return home.
  • Reviewing and modifying my class schedule, which currently is severely lacking in technical curriculum.
  • Getting in touch with a few of my old friends upon returning to California. This probably isn’t so much of an administrative matter, but it begs a certain logistical obligation, so I am inclined to treat it as one.
  • Gorging myself with home cooked meals and all the wonderful, ethnic eats of Southern California. Also not administrative in nature, but just as necessary.
  • Public promotion, event registration, and practice scheduling for my breakdance crew.
  • And of course, the actual process of moving into my dorm room: fetching stuff from storage, unpacking, figuring out what to keep, figuring out what to discard, putting up posters of puppies, putting up posters of Japanese lesbians, putting up posters of sexually charged tree-huggers.

Same old.

Also, I’m in the midst of refactoring this website, which means that there will be a serious overhaul of the underlying design framework without a huge, apparently visual change.
